Inaugural Members at the PA State Capital Building

On January 11, 2026, Fire Police of Pennsylvania (FP of PA) held its first membership meeting at Hampden Twp., Good Hope Fire Station in Mechanicsburg, PA, Cumberland County.

The day started with a gathering in front of the Capital Bldg. in Harrisburg for some photo opportunities to commemorate this great day. Local fire photographer, Dustin Weese, was kind enough to document not just this session in the morning, but all our activities throughout the day.

After our gathering at the Capital, everyone met back at Hampden’s Good Hope Station for lunch. Lunch consisted of brisket and pulled pork, mac & cheese, & baked beans all donated by GET Smok'd BBQ of Camp Hill. Additionally, there was a giant anti-pasta salad donated by Jigsy's BrewPub & Restaurant of Enola. Assorted beverages and cookies were also available as part of the meal.

During this meeting, Mr. Rob Brady of Robb Consulting LLC led the meeting until the election of officers was completed. Rob has taken the lead for FP of PA to ensure our Articles of Incorporation, EIN, 501 (c) 3, PA Tax Exemption, and any other legal paperwork are properly filed as we start our quest forward.

Our membership, as it stands for today, was accepted by those in attendance. Our by-laws were approved to govern FP of PA. A slate of officers was nominated for the first year, presented by the formation committee. There were no additional nominations, and this slate of officers was approved by all members present, both in person and virtually on Teams.

Today was the beginning of a push forward to do great things for all Fire Police throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Thank you to all that has put in an extreme amount of work to make today happen and thank you to everyone that believes in and supports this new way forward.
